3 Painful StarsBeauty from Surrender is the second book from the series Beauty by Georgia Cates, and by far it wasn't wot i expected. I absolutely loved the first book of this series and i am very sad that i didn't like the 2 one as well. The BlurbHow do you move on when he’s every song you sing? After Laurelyn Prescott walks away from the love of her life, she returns to Nashville to pursue the only dream she has left. From there it’s a rocket ride straight to the top where Laurelyn finds the success she’s always dreamed of. Will it be enough to bring her the happiness she so deserves, or will the absence of Jack Henry leave her wanting more?Jack Henry McLachlan never expected to fall in love with Laurelyn Prescott—but he did. After he foolishly let her slip through his fingers, he spends three months searching for her, but their reunion doesn’t come easy. The woman he finds isn’t the same one who drifted away without a goodbye. No longer an insecure girl on an Australian adventure, this Laurelyn is a successful musician with a promising career. Her dreams are becoming a reality, and Jack is terrified his American girl won’t have a place for him in her new life. With only a month to convince her otherwise, will it be enough time to make her visualize a life beyond the glitz and glamour, a life that includes him?My ThoughtsI never thought i am going to say this, but my problem with this book is that It had way to much sex. Can you believe it??? I can't even believe it yet. Is nothing more what i like the most in a book than great sex, and lots of it, but this was a bit OTT, it wasn't sexy anymore. Another big issue for me it's was how much Jack Henry swears most of the time. Yeah, i know a man it's sexy when gives you a good shag and speaks dirty in the same time but this wasn't sexy anymore, it was just straight vulgarity. In the second book of this series i couldn't find either that amazing connection and chemistry between Jack Henry and Laurelyn, the connection that blew me away in the first book.I really wanted to like this book, and i struggled to finish it, but this just wasn't my cuppa and i am really sad that i didn't love it as i did with the first book of this series.
